AMAHORO BUILDERS

Our Story
Amahoro Builders, an NGO founded in 2014, provides a safe haven for disadvantaged and street kids, offering them shelter, education, and counseling to address issues such as drug abuse and past trauma. Alongside its counseling team, Amahoro Builders introduced a football program, creating AB FC (Amahoro Builders Football Club) to give the kids a sense of purpose and belonging. Starting with hesitant recruits, the team transformed through rigorous training and supportive counseling. As the players improved, they began winning local tournaments, capturing the community's attention. Their hard work and perseverance led AB FC to qualify for the Third Division, symbolizing the children's growth and newfound hope. With ambitions to reach the Second Division, AB FC continues to train diligently. The team's journey highlights the power of support and opportunity, demonstrating that with determination, disadvantaged kids can rise above their circumstances. Inspired by the team's success, Amahoro Builders continues to expand its programs, fostering a legacy of peace and hope in Rwanda and beyond.
